Summer Activities
Vacation Church School is an annual summer program for elementary aged students. Middle and high school students are encouraged to help out with leading groups and running activities.
The ELCA National Youth Gathering occurs for 5 days in the summer every three years in rotating locations. The 2027 Gathering will be in Minneapolis Minnesota. This opportunity is open to students who are leaving 8th-12th grade.
LOMIK camps have opportunities throughout the summer for school aged children to build relationships and to learn and develop new skills in an exciting, different environment to their regular church activities.
There are various other summer opportunities through the synod and other organizations for children and youth who are interested.
