Meet the folks who keep our church thriving.
Pastor Dana Lockhart is a sinner (you all probably knew that already). But more importantly, he is a sinner redeemed by Jesus Christ. Of all the things that excite him about Faith Lutheran, nothing stands beyond his experience of hearing the Gospel at this church over the years through excellent preaching, reverent worship, and beautiful music. He hopes his service as pastor builds on this faithful legacy.
Kathy Egner has studied organ and piano for many years and has served as organist, choir director, and director of music in several congregations. In 2022, she began to serve as Interim Director of Music at Faith, and in 2023 she became full-time Director of Music. Previously she was an Associate Professor at Transylvania University and thereafter the Parish Administrator at Faith Lutheran.
Amanda Nord started as Parish Administrator in July 2023. A graduate of St. Catharine College, Amanda says that she has lived two professional lives – one as an educator and one as an HR professional. She has been the Office Manager doing HR and Accounting for the past five years. She is originally from Louisville but has lived in Lexington since 2014. She is thrilled to be part of the Faith family and looks forward to many years as Parish Administrator.
Neil has been the church Sexton for about 2 years. Before that he was an architect, now retired. He has enjoyed his time as Sexton and looks forward to service for many years into the future.
