Dana Lockhart

Pastor

The Reverend Dana Lockhart has served as pastor of Faith Lutheran since January of 2023, though his relationship with the congregation goes back to 2006, when he was a graduate student at the University of Kentucky. Faith played an important role in inspiring his call to ministry and supporting him through the candidacy process. After graduating from Trinity Lutheran Seminary (Columbus, OH) in 2011, he served churches in South Dakota. In 2014, Dana was called back to Lexington to serve as Lutheran campus minister at UK, and later receiving an ecumenical call to a congregation in Versailles, KY. He lives in Versailles with his wife, Victoria, and daughter, Bea.

Kathy Egner

Director of Music

Kathy Egner has studied organ and piano for many years and has served as organist, choir director, and director of music in several congregations. In 2022, she began to serve as Interim Director of Music at Faith, and in 2023 she became full-time Director of Music. Previously she was an Associate Professor at Transylvania University and thereafter the Parish Administrator at Faith Lutheran.

VICTORIA RUSK

Parish Administrator

Victoria Rusk started as Parish Administrator in February 2026. A graduate of Atlanta Art Institute, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. With a background in technology and administration, she brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a thoughtful approach to supporting the mission and work of the parish. Victoria is passionate about serving others and contributing to a positive experience for everyone who visits. She is thrilled to be part of the Faith family and looks forward to many years as Parish Administrator.

Courtney Herald

Learning Center Director

Courtney graduated from Berea College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, double majoring in Education and Child and Family studies with a concentration in child development. She received a Master of Arts in early childhood education with a master teacher concentration (MTEA) as well as a certificate in emergent inquiry from East Tennessee State University in 2020. Most recently she received her MAT in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education and teaching certificate in 2023 from Morehead State University.

Courtney has worked in early childhood education since 2014 in various capacities including childcare, public preschool and developmental intervention. She shares three children with her husband and has a passion for early childhood education and advocating for children and families.
