Global Mission

Our Global Missions committee is part of the larger Outreach Committee and we oversee a variety of efforts that proclaim the Gospel by word and deed throughout the world.

Faith Lutheran Church is involved in supporting Grace Missions in Port au Prince, Haiti.  This mission encompasses two ministries:

     Chez Moi (My Home) provides approximately 37 orphaned girls and 6 orphaned boys with Christian love, shelter, food, medical care, K-12 education, spiritual training and vocational training in a safe, nurturing environment.

     A  Scholarship Fund underwrites university and vocational training for Haitian scholars. 

     Donations can be made to Faith Lutheran Church and designating Grace Missions in the memo line.  Or donate directly through PayPal on the Grace Missions website or Facebook or by mailing a check to Grace Missions, P.O. Companion Missionary in Chile, Karen Anderson created EPES serving Chile.  Global Missions of the ELCA provides mission outreach, theological education, and youth ministry.  ELCA is currently revamping their Missions Program and Karen will be retiring. 

Fair Trade Sales occur on the third Sunday of every month.  Faith sells fair trade products such as coffee and chocolate.

Global Missions Sunday, John 3:16 Sunday are also functions of this committee.
